    Dr. M. Antonio Vance, Ed.D., is the Chief Schools Officer at Skyrocket Education, a role he has held since June 2020. He holds a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership and Organizational Management and a Master of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania, along with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

    With over a decade of experience in educational leadership, Dr. Vance has previously served as Executive Director of Great Oaks Charter Schools and as a school leader at Mastery Charter Schools. His career is marked by his commitment to enhancing educational outcomes, fostering student-centered cultures, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. At Skyrocket Education, he drives the accelerated growth of school leaders through rigorous coaching and the implementation of data-driven instructional systems. Dr. Vance has a strong background in school operations, board governance, leadership, and non-profits, and has assisted in the opening of several schools across the United States.

  • Dr. Marva Tutt

    Dr. Marva Tutt is a veteran education leader with 20+ years of experience driving school improvement, culture building, and instructional quality. She currently serves as Human Resources Coordinator for the Richmond County School System (2025–present) and previously was Executive Director of Secondary Schools in Georgetown County Schools (2023–2025), Director of Professional Learning & STEM (2022–2023) and Director of Student Services (2021) in Danville Public Schools. Earlier, she led Hephzibah High School (2019–2021) and Langford Middle School (2017–2019), achieving milestones such as the highest graduation rate in 14 years, IB World School status, AP School of Distinction, a 25% reduction in out‑of‑school suspensions through PBIS, and the highest CCRPI score in school history. Her prior roles include principalships, district leadership, and CAO of Howard Road Academy, with a record of raising reading and math performance. Dr. Tutt holds an Ed.D. in Educational Administration & Supervision (Argosy University), certificates from Harvard (School Management & Leadership) and Cornell (Diversity & Inclusion), and Georgia certifications in Educational Leadership (P–12) and Secondary Mathematics.

    Okevia Carter is a dedicated educational leader currently serving as the Executive Director of the Henry County School of Scholars. With a Bachelor of Science in Human Development & Family Sciences from Florida State University, a Master of Science in Counseling & Psychology from Troy University, and a Specialist in Educational Leadership from the University of West Florida, she is also pursuing her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Kennesaw State University.

    Okevia brings a wealth of experience in educational leadership, having served in various roles including Executive Director at SESI Schools/Camelot Academy and Guidance Counselor at Booker T. Washington High School. Her competencies encompass curriculum and instruction, culturally responsive pedagogy, classroom management, and project management. She is recognized for her commitment to student success and has been awarded the 2016 Inweekly Rising Star and the "Spirit of Delta Award" from the Pensacola Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

    Okevia is certified as a school counselor in both Florida and Georgia and is proficient in educational technologies, ensuring the effective implementation of innovative practices to foster student growth and achievement.

  • Dr. Damika Howard Wayne

    Damika Howard‑Wayne, Ph.D., is Director of Disability Services at Clayton State University (2025–present), where she serves as ADA/Section 504 compliance officer, leads accommodation management and assistive technology, supervises professional staff, coordinates cross‑campus accessibility efforts, and directs the university’s Care & Support network. Her prior leadership includes Campus Executive Director at Centura College (2022–2025), Principal of FCS Peak Academy (2020–2022), Director of Education at Centura College (2018–2020), and student affairs and operations roles at Tidewater Tech College and Elizabeth City State University. She has taught at Centura College and served as an adjunct at Georgia Southern University, where she helped increase externship placement rates. Dr. Howard‑Wayne earned a Ph.D. in Education Technology & Online Learning (Regent University), an M.Ed. in Adult Higher Education & Training (Strayer University), and a B.A. in Political Science (Elizabeth City State University). Certifications include Life Coach, Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, and Mental Health First Aid Instructor.

    Tamika Nicole Ball, Ph.D. serves as the Director of College Prep Programs for Breakthrough Atlanta, wherein she leads a city-wide college readiness nonprofit program serving underserved high school students across eight Metro-Atlanta school districts. Formerly, Tamika served as the Senior Director of Program Design for OneGoal, leading a team of curriculum designers for a national elective and advisement postsecondary planning course for high school students. Previously, Tamika worked diligently in her former school district as a STEM Program Support Specialist, District-wide Teacher Induction Instructional Mentor, and Secondary Mathematics Teacher for Atlanta Public Schools for twelve years. Atlanta Public Schools honored Tamika’s expertise in the field as the 2012-2013 District-wide Teacher of the Year and a 2014 Georgia Teacher of the Year Finalist, serving as the third top ten state finalist recognized in the history of Atlanta Public Schools. As a former Research Associate for the Southern Regional Education Board for the Benchmarking College- and Career-Readiness Standards project, Tamika interviewed state educators in the southeastern United States from the K-12 field on the implementation of Mathematics and English Language Arts state college- and career-readiness standards. Tamika began her career in Accounting as an External and Internal Auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers Accounting Firm and WestPoint Home respectively, ultimately bridging her path towards building the financial skills students need to excel in the Finance and Accounting field. Her ongoing research interests include Montessori Education in the public sector, instructional teaching strategies, financial literacy and personalized instruction.
